The ranch is malaria free and situated in the summer rainfall area with an average rainfall of 450mm per annum. Temperatures average between 17 and 37 degrees centigrade.
The ranch is 950 metres above sea level, relatively flat with reddish sandy soil on the surface and clay below. The animals graze on Soetveld also known as Rooibos veldt, Maroela and Knoppiesdoring veldt as well as the well known Acacia veldt.
Accommodation is luxurious with on-suite facilities. You can swim in the pool to cool off in the summer heat or participate in clay pigeon shooting. Other activities to enjoy includes, hiking, birding (vultures breed on the ranch), game viewing and predator calling at night.
