Panzi Panzi (the local word for 'down below' or 'on the ground') Bushcamp is situated in the Guernsey Private Nature Reserve, in the Limpopo province of South Africa. Only 45 minutes to Kruger Park's Orpen Gate and an hour and a half to Phalaborwa Gate, Panzi is ideally located for those wanting to explore the area's many attractions.

The enchanting 16 bed camp is hidden in a wooded gully, the rooms joined by wooden walkways which meander through the indigenous bush. The nearby viewing deck looks over a waterhole and is the ideal spot to relax, spot game or watch the sun set over the Drakensberg mountains.

Panzi has a variety of game such as zebra, wildebeest, nyala, impala, giraffe, leopard and buffalo, as well as smaller nocturnal creatures such as porcupine, honey badger, genet, civet and caracal. Game drives, both in Panzi and to a neighbouring reserve can be arranged.

The best time of year for game viewing in the Lowveld is May - September. The summer months are best for birds, reptiles, insects and trees. This is a low risk malaria area, so precautions are advised. Rooms are equipped with mosquito nets.
