The Waterberg Country Lodge
The Waterberg Country Lodge is rated as a 4 star guest lodge by the South African tourism council. It is situated 2.5 hours from Central Gauteng near the town of Thabazimbi in the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. It is at the divide between the wild South African bushveld to its east and the great Botswana plains to its west.
The Lodge offers a relaxed and quiet unspoilt African bushveld environment with six en suite luxurious rooms. Each room has a veranda that overlooks the landscaped garden and fountains.
The lodge is newly furnished and contains some lovely old antique furnisher as well as some beautiful artefacts right out of our back garden.
Traditional bushveld meals are prepared every evening if required and lunches can either be eaten in the lodge or ordered to be packed for picnics.
The lodge is also perfect for day trips out into the surrounding areas and conferencing facilities can be made available on request for small groups who want to get away and out into a creative environment.
