Bateleur Eco Safaris (BES) is an activity-based, tented bush camp situated in the heart of Big 5 territory in South Africa's Timbavati Private Nature Reserve. Forming a part of the Greater Kruger National Park,
Bateleur Eco Safaris offer tent camp at Timbavati game reserve, Catering Home style cooking is provided for breakfast, lunch and dinner and special dietary requirements can be catered for, by prior arrangement.
The Bateleur Eco Safaris camp features 9 large, East African Safari tents set along a sandy riverbed, under majestic Apple Leaf, Jackalberry and Tamboti trees. The tents sleep 2 and if necessary, 3-4 people each.
Each tent is comfortably furnished with beds (custom-made for taller guests), linen, towels, blankets, battery-operated reading-light and a chest of drawers for clothing. Showers & Ablutions There are separate ablution facilities and open-air bush showers fueled by wood-fires.
The highly qualified BES guides have been specially selected for their wealth of knowledge, experience in the field, safety awareness and excellent people skills.
