Chimoyo Game Ranch
This private game reserve covers 5,200 hectares of pristine hunting savannah.It is situated between two tributaries of the Elephant's River; the Makhutswe to the south and the Selati river to the north.
´The habitat on Chimoyo Game Ranch is distinctly African lowveld.
Chimoyo Game Ranch is located in the north eastern corner of South Africa, close to the borders of Mozambique and Zimbabwe and only 80 kilometres from Kruger National Park .
This private game reserve of 5200 hectares is home to a large variety of plains game species as well as white rhino, leopard, buffalo and the magnificent sable antelope. Chimoyo offers the discerning hunter a choice of excellent trophy specimens while biltong (venison) hunters are also welcome.
Hunters and their companions have a choice of two camps; a rustic fly camp consisting of 5 canvass tents on elevated wooden decks, a lapa, two thatched bathrooms, pantry, and a thatched kitchen cum dining room.
Alternatively hunters/guestes can be accommodated in the Hunters Lodge consisting of four thatched en-suite double chalets, a colonial style thatched main building comprising the kitchen, dining room, inside and outside lounges, bar, swimming pool etc. Each of the two camps comfortably accommodates up to ten people.
