Set in the dramatically beautiful Magoebaskloof area of Limpopo, the hotel offers guests a chance to enjoy an idyllic and relaxing break in the country.
Locals, travellers, families, conference goers, wedding parties and weekenders alike are offered a great choice of innovative facilities. Our optional self-catering apartments are proving extremely popular, and guests love the views from the patios, which are offered in all rooms.
In addition the hotel now has 27 luxury double rooms en suite for that extra special experience.
Conferences for any number up to 200 people are gladly arranged, and functions such as weddings are our speciality.

Once again Glenfiddich & Haenertsburg Trout Association have organised a wonderful weekend of trout fishing. Set in spectacular scenery. the dams and pristine rivers are stocked and waiting for keen fishermen to try their skills.
This event will run from Friday night to Sunday lunchtime! On Friday night registration will take place at the Iron Crown Pub in Haenertsburg.
There is a full day of fishing on Saturday in streams and dams with early breakfast and lunch at The Pot 'n Plough. A prizegiving gala banquet will be held on Saturday night at Magoebaskloof Hotel.
Our special fishing weekend rates for this fabulous competition are:
Friday and Saturday night:
- Single R575.- per night, bed and breakfast
- Double: R400.- per person sharing, per night, bed and breakfast
- Should you like to stay over for Sunday night, the rates for this night are:
- Single: R275 bed and breakfast
- Double: R220.- per person sharing, bed and breakfast.
These rates do not include any competition fees

Don't forget to bring the women in your life, who will be able to explore the quaint village of Haenertsburg with its interesting shops, friendly locals and delightful restaurants and coffee shops; visit the many excellent nurseries or just relax at the Hotel.
