Mopane Bush Lodge
Mopane Bush Lodge is situated on Mapesu Nature Reserve, a 6000 hectare game farm in mopane bushveld. It is a safe environment for walking, cycling and driving in the bush.
Mapesu Nature Reserve is adjacent to the new Mapungubwe National Park . It lies in the summer rainfall region of Southern Africa with hot summers and warm winters.
Mopane Bush Lodge, of African Renaissance design, nestles in the mopane bushveld. The lodge has been designed to provide simple luxury while being luxuriously simple, ensuring guests can relax in quiet exclusivity.
A walking trail leads to a hide overlooking the dam where game and birds can be observed. There is a large bird pond, with a bench, where guests can relax and watch the birds, dragonflies and sometimes game coming for a drink. The lodge has open game viewing vehicles for drives on the Nature Reserve and in Mapungubwe National Park
