Kiwifruit Festival
It has been said that the kiwi tastes like a succulent green sherbet. In April the beautiful area of Magoebaskloof, and the quaint village of Haenertsburg, celebrates this fruit with an annual Kiwi festival.
This unique event provides a fun experience for the whole family. Entertainment over the 2 days will include guided tours of a kiwi farm, with tastings of kiwis and kiwi related products as well as informative talks on how kiwis are grown and their fascinating history (for instance do you know the fruit originally came from China via New Zealand).
