LIMPOPO; POLOKWANE: Limpopo Tourism Agency (LTA) is thrilled to announce that our Chief Executive Officer Ms. Nomasonto Ndlovu, has been nominated for the SHERO Awards under the KZN Ambassador category. It should also be noted that Ms. Ndlovu is the first LTA female CEO since the formation of the parastatal.
Every year in August, Gagasi FM celebrates women's month through the SHERO campaign. The campaign recognizes and honors women who are making a significant difference in their communities. The unique thing about SHERO Awards is that it recognizes not only women in the public spotlight, but also ordinary women in communities.
The primary criteria for the submission entries is that the chosen nominees' work and contributions must fly the KZN flag high, contribute to the growth, development and national visibility of the KZN province and its community. All candidates must originally be from KZN even if they currently reside in a different province.

Creative Arts (Fine arts, poetry, literature, fashion and architecture)
Entertainment and Music
- Science and Technology
- Big Business Professional (Legal, medical, finance, etc.)
- Enterprise (Small businesses)
- Social Entrepreneurship
- Public Service (Police, nurse, etc.)
- Community Leadership
- KZN Ambassadors
Upon receiving the news this is what the LTA CEO said “It’s an honor and privilege to be recognized by my home Province and I am grateful for the opportunity to serve in Limpopo and make a contribution to the economic growth and development of this amazing Province. I am truly humbled particularly to receive this news during Women’s month”
She will contest the award with equally talented women such as Nomzamo Mbatha and Thembekile Duma.
