A Night of 1000 Stars

Bela Bela Tourism will be hosting their Gala Event, “A Night of a 1 000 Stars”, at the Forever Resorts Warmbaths on Friday 5 November 2010. At the event, tribute will be paid to local outstanding people who had been identified as Bela Bela Stars by the Tourism Committee during the weeks preceding “A Night of a 1 000 Stars”.

Bela Bela Tourism Committee member Heiletta Biewenga said this week that Forever Resorts was supporting this initiative of awarding local persons who are excelling at various levels of performance, whether by service excellence, perseverance, applying their talent or even actual heroic incidents.

A gourmet meal will be presented to the 300 attendees of the evening’s function. Excellent entertainment for the evening has been guaranteed by contracting sought after performing artists Riaan Hunter and the Van der Merwe Brothers, who hail from the Cape. Their light classical music items will compliment the glitzy tone of a star studded event like “A Night of a 1 000 Stars”.

Me Biewenga said the Tourism Committee had realised the yearning many people have for attending a really smart occasion in the company of their friends and attending this event will be fulfilling such dreams. “Glamour and Glitz, Style and Stars” will be the theme for the evening’s function, which would be hosted at 18:30 for 19:00 on 5 November 2010, according to Me Biewenga.
