15.12.09Limpopo Tourism and Parks would like to take this opportunity to wish the people of our beautiful province and country all the very best over the festive season.
As we take stock of 2009, we can find much to cheer about. Limpopo was not only a hive of tourist activity, but was also placed on the world’s tourism radar. With more than three quarters of a million international arrivals, and more than four million domestic arrivals, Limpopo is indeed one of the growing tourism giants.
We take this opportunity to thank Premier Cassel Mathale, MEC Pitsi Moloto and all our mayors for their unwavering support. It was indeed their political counsel and motivation which gave us the impetus to push the tourism agenda forward in our province.
We are also very grateful for the contribution of the tourism industry players and other stakeholders who have shown passion, resilience and vision. Our greatest thanks are directed to the media, especially those residing in the province, for the coverage given to our province, especially the coverage promoting tourism.
As we prepare to take our breaks, we at Limpopo Tourism and Parks would like to say a blessed Christmas to all those celebrating in December.
I wish all our staff members a tranquil, safe and joyous festive season.
Benny Boshielo
