04.09.09Life is hectic, and we are all focused on the one thing to ensure our future – survival. We work harder, earn more, and worry more… Things are tough, really tough, and the race for survival is the toughest of all.
It is even truer in the animal kingdom. Environmental issues such as global warming, pollution, availability of resources and many more pose an even bigger threat for our wildlife. Roaming free is an illusion; a wild
animal can only roam free as far as the next fence, the next tar road, the next city boundary…
Countless animals are killed on the highways and byways, beautiful majestic birds get severally burned by electrical cables, owls fly head on into oncoming traffic head lights, cubs get born in captivity…
Yes, in the race for survival, our wildlife are the scavengers at the bottom of the food chain. The problem is, since we have taken them under our own management, we remain responsible for their care and survival,
especially orphaned or injured wildlife that has nowhere else to turn for a chance to survive.
