23.06.11At an auspicious occasion at Zanami Lodge, the CEO of Limpopo Tourism and Parks (LTP), Mr. Rob Tooley, stated that he was very impressed by the level of commitment and passion for tourism Ms. Loraine Chitate, the owner of Zanami Lodge, displayed since he knew her. “Lorrain may not have qualifications in tourism, but she has proved that with passion and dedication one can achieve one’s goal.
We wish to congratulate her and her team for representing Limpopo well during the 2011 ETEYA competition in Durban, when they were announced the second runner-up. Their win is very important to us as that continues to put our province on the map”, said Tooley.
In her reply Ms. Loraine Chitate thanked Limpopo Tourism and Parks for the support and mentorship in her journey but most importantly she thanked her staff for her achievements. “It was not easy, I must say, because, at some point I wanted to throw in the towel, but with encouragement of my staff, we are where we are today, emphasized Chitate. She also thanked her family for the great support they gave her throughout the journey.
