LTP concludes Women’s Month in style by giving women employees a treat

Polokwane - Limpopo Tourism and Parks (LTP) will conclude the Women Month celebrations in style as the Agency gives its female employees a treat by hosting an employee wellness program. This is targeted at educating and empowering female employees on life skills and taking better care of themselves.  This day will also be used to commemorate fallen heroines for their sterling contribution in the emancipation of women in South Africa. The event will be held under he theme ‘There is nothing like the man’s world.’ The day’s activities will comprise heatlh creaning, fashion parade slim and full figured women, beauty tips and financial advice. 

The CEO of LTP Mr. Rob Tooley said, “It is important for the organisation to take care of the welfare of the women by continuously conducting these activities as this will boost their confidence and thus increase their work performance. This will also decrease the women’s stress levels but also make them stable leaders of their families”.

The Department of Health will conduct voluntarily health screening on the following: Cholestrole, sugar diabetics, blood pressure and voluntarily HIV Testing and Counselling. The ocassion will be blessed by the presence of Princess Tsakane Nkabule, who will also be a guest speaker.

The programme will empower women in many ways than one as several products from various organisations will be exhibited to their  benefit such as Sure-slim, Spotron, etc.
