22.07.11Limpopo Tourism and Parks (LTP) Executive Management under the leadership of the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Rob Tooley, will this morning take up garden tools to Bana-ba-Thari School, a special school for the intellectually impaired, where they will be reviving the school garden and seed planting as part of Mandela month celebrations .
Tooley said, “LTP adopted the school 3 years ago as part of our Corporate Social Investment program that we do on an annual basis”. Over the past years LTP has assisted the School in various aspects such as:
“The project is seen as a major intervention as it will decrease running costs for the kitchen but also afford the learners a balanced diet, which is very important for learning. This is a sustainable project that will be run at a minimal cost to the school”, added Tooley,
This project will be the official LTP 2011 Mandela Month celebration project.
