Tourism will be abuzz this weekend in the immaculate town of Makhado. The accommodation sector continues to be the biggest winner or beneficiary of the race as town has recorded full occupancy for this weekend, with the overflow going to surrounding areas such as Elim and Thohoyandou. Restaurants and other recreational facilities in the town are encouraged to brace themselves for the influx as this is not just a cycling event but a family one with side activities such as Fun Ride Race, KFC Kiddies Race, 70 Km Race and the Total Mountain Bike Cross Country Olympic which will be staged at the Komatiland Forestry – Hanglip on Sunday 5th June 2016.
