Transfrontier Parks

Transfrontier parks in South Africa are a recent concept in nature conservation and tourism, and are based on the principle of nature or ecosystems not recognising national borders. The concept makes provision, through a formal agreement, for the collaborative management of conservation areas which straddle international boundaries.
