Located 15 km to the south-east of Lephalale, this reserve offers a good combination of game reserve, conference centre and a well equipped camp. The game reserve is home to the nyala antelope, as well as 60 other mammal species including white rhino, giraffe, waterbuck, zebra, tsessebe, eland and others.
It also includes a variety of predators such as leopard, brown hyena jackal and smaller cats. Some impressive Nyala Berry and Baobab trees can be encountered here. Most importantly the reserve boasts two game viewing hides overlooking the flat savannah plains and riverbeds where it is quite easy to spot animals, expecially during the drier winter months.
The conference centre is of historical significance, because it was here that the peace talks between Nobel Peace Prize winner FW de Klerk and Cyril Ramaphosa were held before the democratic transformation in South Africa.
