Sharing a fenceless border with the Kruger National Park near the Pafuri Gate in the north, this awesome camp is located on a mountain top that offers a spectacular view of the permanent Levuvhu river and a baobab forest, where elephants, hippos and crocodiles roam freely 200 m below the camp.
As part of the Greater Kruger National Park, this reserve offers Big Five sightings as well as all other species of the region. The Luvuvhu-Pafuri region is also one of the birding hot-spots of South Africa. Other than the main camp, this reserve is also home to the Mutale Ivory Route Camp.

How to get there:
Please note: 4x4 only. Follow the N1 for approx. 60 km after Makhado, then turn right towards Tshipise; after 110 km turn right towards Mutale; pass through Mutale, then turn left towards Makuya Park; after 7 km a mining area is reached; turn left at traffic circle; follow this road past mining dams and dumps; turn right at filling station;
follow signs towards Mutale Camp and Makuya Nature Reserve for another 2 km; enter through gate and proceed to the main camp.
