Tzaneen Dam
The dam is situated 10km North-West of Tzaneen, only an hour drive from the Kruger National Park, this wilderness area incorporates the dam basin and a peninsula of the dam. It has angling and fishing opportunities. Enjoy the presence of hippos while having your picnic.
Tzaneen dam lies in good birding area with more than 350 bird species. Stay overnight at a picnic site or a caravan park and nature will treat you to magnificent copper bronze skies at sunset.
