Nestled contentedly on the foothills of the Waterberg Range, this 7.000-ha nature reserve lies close to Limpopo's major highway, half an hour's drive from Mokopane and Mookgophong. Doorndraai boasts a wide variety of woodland habitats such as acacia, hillside broad-leaved woodland and riverine woodland.
Set in spectacular scenic surroundings near the town of Marken, the 4.500 hectare provincial park is a joint venture between the Limpopo government and the Bakenberg community in which all stakeholders are working together to promote tourism-driven economic development.
This small bushveld reserve is located between Mokopane and Polokwane and functions as a breeding ranch for roan antelope and disease-free buffalo.
Wonderkop covers the surface area of 16.000 hectares. The reserve is located 115 km north of Mokopane, with the Mogalakwena River and Glen Alpine Dam forming the eastern border.

The reserve offers 4x4 routes drive and excellent game viewing to some rare species of Roan antelope and sable. Other game found on the reserve include blue wildebeest, giraffe, zebra, waterbuck and gemsbok.
