Zoutpansberg Mountain Range
Birding, Animal Life, Art, Indigeneous Tree. On day 11, a short drive takes us to the western shoulder of the Zoutpansberg mountain range - named by the early Dutch settlers in recognition of the many salt-lakes in the area. Birding en route in impressive surroundings, we arrive at Shiluvari Lakeside Lodge situated on the banks of the Albasini Dam. During our three night stay we include a sunset cruise, which should produce White-backed Night Heron, African Finfoot, Grey-headed Kingfisher, Crested Guineafowl, Yellow-spotted Nicator, Scaly-throated Honeyguide and Gorgeous Bush Shrike.
