Limpopo Championship Grand Finale Set to Crown Another Winner This Weekend
LIMPOPO; POLOKWANE: The Limpopo Tourism Agency (LTA) is proud to announce the grand finale of the prestigious Limpopo Championship, taking place this Sunday, 12 October 2025, at the spectacular Euphoria Golf and Lifestyle Estate.
Over the past week, 156 professional golfers have competed for the title on one of the country’s most scenic and challenging golf courses. Nestled in the heart of the bushveld, Euphoria Golf Estate has once again impressed players and spectators alike with its pristine fairways and unique golf and game experience.
As we approach the tournament’s conclusion, anticipation is building around who will be crowned the next Limpopo Championship winner, adding their name to the growing legacy of this flagship sporting event.
“The Limpopo Championship has become much more than a sporting event it’s a platform for economic stimulation, destination marketing, and job creation,” said Mr. Andrew Dipela, Chairperson of the Limpopo Tourism Agency Board.
“We are immensely proud that this tournament continues to attract international talent while directly benefiting our local communities. This is what sustainable tourism in Limpopo is, it’s all about impact, inclusivity, and excellence.”
The tournament has already delivered meaningful economic benefits for the region including 156 jobs for local caddies offering a week of paid work and experience, more than 80 temporary hospitality jobs created at Euphoria Golf and Lifestyle Estate with economic contributions on general trade that includes the accommodation sector, transport, catering, and tourism services across the Waterberg region.
“We are excited to host yet another successful edition of the Limpopo Championship,” added Mr. Moses Ngobeni , CEO of Limpopo Tourism Agency.
“This event highlights Limpopo’s growing stature as a prime destination for sport and leisure tourism where world class golf professionals meet authentic South African experiences.”
