The lodge is situated along the majestic Panoramic Route of Mpumalanga/Limpopo Province, just a 40-minute drive to the Kruger National Parks Orpen Gate.
Nestled between the breath-taking Drakensberg Mountains and the tranquil Blyde River, Blyde River Canyon Lodge offers travellers a unique bush experience whilst soaking up the beauty of the natural surrounds.
The lodge itself is on an 85 ha fully game fenced, botanical nature reserve. Accommodation comprises six (6) double/twin rooms with en-suites and one (1) Honeymoon Suite with en-suite.
We have a luxury two bed roomed cottage with two bedrooms and two bathrooms en-suite.
All rooms are tastefully furnished, fully air-conditioned and are equipped with satellite TV, WI-FI as well as tea and coffee making facilities.
Each room leads out onto the tranquil gardens where zebra, wildebeest and other wild game wander by.
A blend of Victorian and African decor compliments the beauty and majesty of 900-year-old Jackelberry trees, whose shade cascades over the pristine lawn areas.
Full English breakfasts are served daily and delicious country cuisine is available on request for lunch and dinner.
