LIMPOPO SHOWCASES DIVERSE OFFERINGS TO THE WORLD AT 2020 MEETINGS AFRICA

POLOKWANE; LIMPOPO: Limpopo Tourism Agency (LTA) will make the most of 2020 edition of Meetings Africa to benefit the Province. The CEO, Ms. Nomasonto Ndlovu is already excited with the prospects of success as the Agency prepares to expose diverse product offerings to the world at this important platform. She will be leading a Limpopo delegation to the 2020 instalment of Meetings Africa at the Sandton Convention Centre, Johannesburg. The CEO will use this platform to interact with leading conference organizers and key industry decision makers.

This is a two day event being held from 24th to 26th February 2020 where African associations and African meetings industry professionals partner to help transform our continent etc. in the Business Services, Travel & Tourism industries.  

LTA’s approach to the 2020 Meetings Africa is to highlight Heritage and Culture cluster as the main strategic focus for marketing. The marketing positioning of Heritage and Culture clusterwill be complemented by the rest of the tourism clusters.

“Our objectives to participate in this platform are to increase the tourist volumes, spend and length of stay arrivals into Limpopo Province as a favourable business events and sports tourism destination through pursuing, bidding and hosting both major, local and international events; to learn about the needs of organisers interested in hosting big events in Limpopo and to showcase Limpopo’s experience and expertise in hosting and managing large local and international events. We are very excited as this is another opportunity to expose ten (10) of our diverse business tourism or MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferencing and Events) products to buyers from many parts of the continent and the world”, said the CEO of LTA, Ms. Nomasonto Ndlovu.

LTA will use Meetings Africa will as a platform to raise awareness about business tourism facilities of the province. “We will also conduct two tours (pre and post) for some international delegates in the tourism and event space. We are confident that this will give us more traction that will help us maintain our position as a number one tourism destination in South Africa”, concluded Ndlovu.
