LTA launches its Winter Campaign in the Kruger National Park to showcase its offerings and mild winter temperatures-The province of two summers
Limpopo Province; Polokwane: Limpopo is one of the warmest regions in South Africa with an average of daily high temperature of 26 degrees. According to World Data Info, the province is warm to hot for several months of the year at temperatures continuously above 25 degrees, sometimes up to 29 degrees. Limpopo Tourism Agency (LTA) is for that reason excited to invite you and your media house to be part of the media launch of the Winter Campaign where the MEC of Economic Development, Environment and Tourism (LEDET), Mr. Tshitereke Matibe, will officially announce a line-up of activities of the campaign.
The media launch will be preceded by the Media Colloquium to be attended by leaders in the media fraternity, where LTA will lay bare with respect to its extended mandate of Destination Trade and Investment Promotion, as pronounced by Limpopo EXCO in 2022. The event will be hosted in the iconic and world-renowned tourist destination, Kruger National Park, of which over 70% is resident in Limpopo Province. The event will take place as following
Limpopo as a warm winter destination), regional activations and regional events support. The purpose of the event will be to position Limpopo Province as a leading tourist destination in Southern Africa, to increase brand equity and awareness and to establish strategic business partnerships with tourism players in the province and beyond.
This is one of the four seasonal campaigns to promote Limpopo as a viable tourist destination both locally (South Africa) and the rest of the world making it top of mind and memorable for tourists and holiday makers. With so much on offer, Limpopo is a destination unlike any other in the country and the world over because it is diverse, attractive and a safe place for travellers throughout the year.
