WTM Africa is defined as a meeting place for Africa’s travel industry meant to provide an even playing field and opportunity for investment in tourism. Under the theme “Ignite Africa” the event at Cape Town’s International Conference Centre (CICC) promises to be a pivotal gathering for tourism scheduled to take place from the 09th – 11th April 2025. This is the only place where you can simultaneously, generate sales, launch new products, raise brand awareness, conduct market research, command press attention, develop and maintain relationships. It further serves as the voice for the African travel industry to the global markets. Annually the WTM Africa welcomes over 5000 delegates from the travel industry global and in this region, over 3000 of these delegates are trade visitors(buyers). The top industry sectors represented includes adventure travel, safari holidays and business tourism.
The approach to the 2025 WTM Africa is to showcase sustainable tourism products representing the six (06) tourism clusters as the main strategic focus for marketing.
