LIMPOPO RISING – AFRICA’S NEW INVESTMENT FRONTIER MARKS RECORD INVESTMENT PLEDGES OF R170 billion
Polokwane, Limpopo — The Limpopo Tourism Agency (LTA) proudly joined the Limpopo Provincial Government in celebrating the successful hosting of the 5th Limpopo Investment Conference, held from 30–31 October 2025 at The Ranch Resort under the inspiring theme, “Limpopo Rising: Africa’s New Investment Frontier.”


The conference raised R170 billion in pledges that is earmarked towards economic development in the province, with good number of pledges aimed at supporting tourism.


Limpopo Premier Dr Phophi Ramathuba acknowledged the record-breaking investment pledges received in 2025 from diverse sectors, assuring the people of Limpopo that the pledged funds will be utilised to stimulate the provincial economy, create jobs, and expand business opportunities. She announced that the total pledged amount stands at R170,038,188,625, marking a historic milestone in Limpopo’s investment journey.
Further, in her address, Premier Dr Ramathuba reaffirmed the province’s commitment to inclusive growth, sustainable development and positioning Limpopo as a leading destination for both investment and tourism on the African continent.
LTA welcomes this renewed confidence from investors as it highlights the critical role of tourism as a catalyst for socio-economic transformation. Through strategic partnerships and targeted destination marketing, LTA continues to position Limpopo as the preferred investment and travel destination, celebrated for its natural beauty, cultural heritage and adventure tourism potential.
“Tourism remains a key pillar of Limpopo’s economic growth. The investments we attract today will not only enhance infrastructure and job creation but will also enrich the visitor experience and empower local communities,” said LTA Board Chairperson Mr Andrew Dipela.
As Limpopo charts a new path of resilience, innovation and opportunity, the Limpopo Tourism Agency reaffirms its commitment to supporting investors, communities and stakeholders in building a prosperous and inclusive future for all.
